Some of the changes i introduced in 2022 include -

1. Focusing more on socio-cultural anthropology questions as I feel they are more scoring.

2. Interlinking paper 1 and 2. For example in questions on caste, we can add thinkers who wrote on social stratification from paper 1. Another example is adding concepts such as the perspective of cultural relativism in the tribal questions of paper 2.

3. Remembering a Little over 100 books along with their authors for ALL parts of the syllabus. This can be done by referring to the references given after chapters in the IGNOU anthropology material or also picking up references from Ember and Ember. Wikipedia pages of thinkers is also a great source to do the same.

4. I augmented my content from various sources such as IGNOU (very exhaustive), case studies from Ember (very relevant for paper 1), Mandar Patki sir's notes (very detailed).

5. I used black pens for subheadings and my answers were well structured. This can be done by using short notes that I feel everybody should make. These allow one to do quick revision and also remember the sub points.

6. Diagrams are not as important as most people feel. Only use diagrams where they add value to your answer.

7. Choosing difficult questions that most people will not attempt is very rewarding.

8. Add a subheading of "Current anthropological relevance" if possible and add current affairs news from the anthropological perspective. Use the newspaper to gather unique examples that other aspirants are not using. For example - rising age of marriage and the discussion of a new law for the chapter on marriage in paper 1. Ethnic clashes in Manipur is also a good example for the part on ethnicity in paper 2.
