Anthropology: post #1
After exploring Anthropology through various sources—books, market materials, and different institutes—I still found myself searching for that one perfect resource.
Most of the content I came across was scattered, lacking cohesion, which often led to more confusion than clarity. Fortunately, through one of my friends, I came to know about ANTHRO 555 by Shiva Teja Sir. With the confidence Sir instilled in me, I decided to go ahead with the full-fledged ANTHRO 555 course. And I must say—this is a very good course I have come across. It is a complete package(includes module tests also).
This may sound like a thank-you note to some, but honestly, it’s just my heartfelt gratitude for something that truly helped me.
I remained very consistent with classes and the test series. Sir’s approach is a little different—he focuses heavily on building conceptual clarity, coupled with dynamic, research-oriented content. I believe this approach helped me immensely in handling this year’s paper.
Coming to the Test Series, Sir used to evaluate answers in live mode. He wouldn’t limit himself to evaluating those questions alone—he would teach us how to handle similar question patterns effectively. His tests always included surprising and analytical questions(like paper 2 in 2024). That’s one more reason why the final exam felt like just another regular test.
I will share a video discussion of me with Teja sir about my journey and anthropology..
