General Strategy for GS(1-4) mains

General Strategy for GS(1-4) mains :

1. PYQ- foundation of mains. Identify themes, types of questions, types of current affairs, high priority areas.

2. Notes - if not ready then start making notes on each and every topic mentioned in the syllabus and also on major themes which are being repeated in Mains. Have 400-500 word notes on each topic. Include introduction, conclusion, diverse points, data, reports , SC cases, Articles , examples, Quotes etc

3- Current affairs: make Issue based notes. Take A4 sheet and make notes of major issues in public discourse. Include introduction, conclusion, diverse points, data, reports , SC cases, Articles , examples, Quotes etc

4. Answer writing practice - join Any test series as per your capacity. Practice a lot. Give special focus on structuring of answers. This gives extra marks.

5. Revise as much as possible
