Just a heartfelt note to all the aspirants who could not find their name in the list:
I understand what you're going through because I felt it last year. There is a lot of noise around you about the Marksheets, the strategies of toppers, the Do's and Don'ts, confidence, belief, faith, discipline and what not. But within you is a void.
A lot of you might be asking yourself the question, 'What more do I do?', 'I gave it my all', 'I don't have anything left within me'. Trust me, I understand all those feelings and you are completely valid in asking those questions. I felt the same last year and I know it irks.
One day, you are this extraordinary candidate who has been to the UPSC Bhawan, entered that prestigious building, been before the most intellectual minds and had a wonderful discussion with them, been in the top 2000 people of India, and the next day, you are again, a normal candidate who is one of the lakhs who will appear for the Prelims. While you may still be studying for Prelims, that void might be growing within you asking if it is all worth it?
At this point, ask yourself why you are doing this! As it is said 'He who knows the WHY can bear any HOW'! And I know it is very tough to think straight, but try hard. The self-introspection will help you fill that void, to get back up once again and to give that one last shot with all you have and you will be through!
