1) Ancient History - Old NCERTS (initial attempts) + Themes books (New NCERTS) + Tamil Nadu NCERTS for Kingdoms in the South like Chola, Chera, Pandya, Rashtrakuta, Pallava, etc. + Value addition from SFG tests

2) Medieval History - Themes book (New NCERT) + Value addition from SFG tests

3) Modern History - Relied only on Spectrum + Std. 12 NCERT by Bipin Chandra + Value addition from SFG tests

4) Art and Culture - Selective Chapters of Nitin Singhania + Value addition from SFG tests

5) Polity - Laxmikanth

6) Economy - Class 12 NCERT (focused majorly on Macroeconomics part) + Selective Chapters from Nitin Singhania

7) Geography - Class 11 and 12 NCERT

8) Environment - ShankarIAS book for basic concepts + Current affairs by Dipin Sir + Value addition from SFG tests

9) Science and Technology - Current Affairs by Amir Sir at ForumIAS + Value addition from SFG tests

10) Current affairs for all subjects including IR, mapping, etc. - covered from Current Affairs classes by Dipin Sir and various faculties at ForumIAS

Apart from this, diligently solved the PYQs through which I mean thorough analysis of all the options given and identification of the underlying themes.

This list of resources is for all the students who are appearing in a later attempt of 2026/27/28. For all the aspirants appearing in 2025, do not study any new resources at this point, you've studied from the right sources, made the right notes. Believe in your resources, revise them multiple times and you will be good to go.
