Booklist and Approaches

GS1

Art and Culture- Nitin Singhania book(made short notes) + NCERT

Ancient and mediaeval History- NCERTs(new) + Tamil Nadu State book

Modern History- A Brief History of Modern India by Rajiv Ahir by Spectrum publications

Geography- Sudarshan Gurjar sir’s lectures + NCERT (11th and 12th)

Society- NCERTs + Vision IAS free resource + Varun Jain Sir’s notes for intro-conclusion + Mains 365

GS2

Polity- Atish Mathur Sir’s lectures + NCERTs (Constitution at work) + M. Laxmikanth. Theme wise note making is the most important step for mains.

Governance and Social Justice - Vision IAS free resources + Varun Jain Sir’s notes

International Relations- PT365 and Mains 365, country and grouping wise note making

GS3

Struggled with the most as I had consistently low scores in my 3 attempts. Took extra coaching and read a few extra books that might have helped. But the solution lies in consolidation as the syllabus here is too vast and hence difficult to revise at the last minute.

Economy- Vivek Singh Sir’s Book, Vibhas Jha Sir’s Lectures on Budget and Economic Survey, Theme wise note making

Security- Shivin Sir’s notes + Vision IAS free resource

Environment and Science and Tech- Shivin Sir’s notes + Mains 365

Disaster Management- Vision IAS free material + Shivin Sir’s notes (any one can be chosen)

GS4

Did it via multiple iterations- Atish Mathur sir’s old lectures on Case studies + Vision IAS free material + Mudit Jain Sir’s approaches

The base of it was a master list of examples, anecdotes and a lot of answer writing practice!
