Struggled with the most as I had consistently low scores in my 3 attempts. Took extra coaching and read a few extra books that might have helped. But the solution lies in consolidation as the syllabus here is too vast and hence difficult to revise at the last minute.
Economy- Vivek Singh Sir’s Book, Vibhas Jha Sir’s Lectures on Budget and Economic Survey, Theme wise note making
Security- Shivin Sir’s notes + Vision IAS free resource
Environment and Science and Tech- Shivin Sir’s notes + Mains 365

1. IMS Delhi- foundation level coaching, reading material, test series.
2. Mathocrat- online videos for physics part, test series in 2023 attempt (but was not able to give every test)
3. Kanishk Kataria sir's notes- updated it with questions which I felt were important/difficult for me.
4. Standard books- M.D.Raisinghania for ODE and PDE.
Malik and Arora for real analysis and calculus. Krishna series for physics part (some important questions are already part of ims notes, so no need to do it separately)
5. Separate notebook for PYQs. Did them multiple times.
6. Pourush Sood sir's youtube videos for how to use the calculator!

This is Ritika Verma
I have been fortunate enough to secure AIR 25 in UPSC CSE 2023 this year. The purpose of this channel is to share the approaches that worked for me throughout this preparation. These are by no means absolute strategies hence, should be taken with a pinch of salt!

Chapter-wise Geography Optional Notes

*Some post-prelims Gyan* -

There are two types of aspirants.
 
One who calculate their marks 
based on answer keys available from various coachings and be clear about their results. (Though not 100%)

Second who don't check answer keys and wait upto final Prelims results.

Don't be the second one. Calculate your probable marks. If it is around +/- 10 of predicted cut-off, you should start preparing for Mains.

 This 15 days of period upto results can be extremely helpful for Mains. One should do the following things in these days as required -

1. Complete revision of most difficult subjects of optional (e.g. Geomorphology or Perspectives in Geography)

2. Complete Ethics revision 

3. Go through the Mains specific parts like Internal Security, Indian Society etc or complete any pending syllabus for Mains


This 3 months should be the most productive and most grueling time period of your life.


(N.B. - I will share the most authentic Prelims answer key soon, made by CSE 2023 Qualified Candidates )
