  1. Economy: Basics from Mrunal + Dipin Sir's classes for CA which covered several topics in detail.

2. Science and Tech: Dipin Sir's classes.

3. Environment: Basics (Prelims notes) + Dipin Sir's classes

4. Internal Security: Own notes (Internal Security Book) + Dipin Sir's classes

5. Disaster Management: Dipin Sir's classes (You can refer any short compilation of a coaching institute)

6. Static topics like land reforms, 1991 Economic Reforms - 2-3 pages from internet can be made.

7. My own current affairs notes made from the newspaper.

Q. How to tackle Science and Tech Ques like Satellite based toll collection, water purification, etc. ?

  1. Try to use small pictorial representation on how the technology would work.

2. Explain the advantages and shortcomings of the new tech.

3. Current hurdles in implementing the same and way forward.

Q. What should be the value addition for GS3?

A. Schemes, committee names, best practices, data (limited), examples, quotes acts as value addition in the exam.

Q. How to utilise Economic Survey for GS3?

A. Prominent points of Economic Survey of past years can be used for substantiating the points. For eg. - son meta preference, barbell strategy (used during COVID), creative destruction, JAM trinity etc. Dipin sir provided a set of points from 2016 that could be used.

Q. How to structure the questions?

  1. Start with a context or current affairs regarding the question.

2. Explaining the keyword in 2-3 lines.

3. Subheadings to directly target the demand of the question.

4. Way forward.

5. Conclusion with some keyword.

Utilise the test series model answers to fill any gaps in knowledge and also to self analyse your answers. This will help in forming a crisp resource base for committee names, data and examples as well.
