The steps are as follows:

1 Start with the syllabus.

2 Make notes on each point of the syllabus and review the types of questions asked in PYQs.

3 Have a general understanding of PYQs for Ethics, but don’t attempt to solve every single question.

4 For note-making, gather relevant content from coaching materials or topper notes.

5 Topics related to GS2, such as RTI, governance, civil servants, and corruption, should be covered in GS2 itself. No need for separate notes for Ethics, except for a few examples.

6 Additionally, compile examples of civil servants, leaders, and philanthropists, which you can source from current affairs or coaching materials.

Keep it simple.

Ethics is relatively easy, and with minimal effort, you can prepare adequately. To score well, focus on incorporating examples and value-added content.
