Just a few pointers:
1. Start with the easy questions first to build confidence.
2. Do NOT check the answers in between Paper 1 and 2. Once you're done with Paper 1, forget all about it for the moment and focus on Paper 2.
3. Always go through the paper quickly before you actually attempt it.
4. Expect the unexpected. Maybe some surprises. Don't panic if that happens. Remember, if it's difficult for you, it's difficult for everyone else too.
5. Eat a light breakfast and lunch so as not to feel sleepy during the exam.
I am going to tell you something my mother told me after I gave my prelims. She said, 'I'm proud of you just for attempting the exam.' Not for clearing it, not for anything else, but just for mustering the courage to sit in the exam hall. Because it does take courage to sit there.
So for those of you who are going to be entering the hall today and giving this attempt, know that you're doing something brave, and that's something to be so proud of.
May the force be with you. ✨
