One year since the day of redemption

One year since the day of redemption, the day of arrival, the aha moment , or whatever fancy you choose to call it. Everything has changed and everything remains 'almost' the same. If one looks at the change , it has changed your employment status , your daily routine , your 'PR', the way people behave with you , the way you behave with them but inside you nothing has changed. Your inner turmoil, your search for peace , your insecurities remain the same. Yet the 'aha' moment becomes a space of reflections and big life lessons. Firstly it brought the realisation that the happiness that comes with these moments/quests is momentary, it lasts for a few days , and then you start worrying about the 'next' things in life. For some it's the cadre , or for others its the right person, or some other personal/professional problems.

Amid all the chaos, struggle and insecurities, this moment also serves as a remedy , it reminds on to be grateful for what one have, and struggle that has gone behind getting it.

After all the fanfare, attention, felicitations subside, you realise that it's the same old people - your family and your close friends , who continue to walk with you, who are all ears to your everyday rant , it is these people who know what life is for you beyond your insta/WhatsApp stories.

So keep what is yours , value it, live in the moment and find everyday reasons to be happy and don't over expect from the 'grand' moments in life.
