1st attempt (2020)-Highly money intensive and I do not recommend any of it today.

1.I paid for Analog IAS Foundation Course Early morning+ weekend batch (2019) but did not attend much due to work pressure

2. I did online IAS Gurukul Sociology Foundation course of 2019 ( they did not give me included tests in 2020 saying they expired)

3. Vision IAS test series for prelims 36 tests whose validity was extended

4. Vision IAS Mains test series of 34 tests whose validity was extended

5. GS Score test series for essay and ethics of 10 tests

6. 5000 Rupees course of Mohapatra Sir for Sociology Answer Writing in COVID

7. Vision IAS test series for sociology ( Already uploaded)

DISCLAIMER: I was earning at this point and was able to afford this but I recommend nothing except Test Series and that too candidates can get paid test series post prelims

I never applied for 2021 and hence had time to do 5-6 months of mains prep for 2nd attempt

2nd attempt (2022)

1. Lukman Test series of 2021 ( I attempted them in December 2021 itself)

2. GS Score Essay 10 Tests

3. vision ias test series for prelims (30 tests)

4. took Next IAS Test Series also in April 2023 (25 tests)

5. I did all simulators of Forum, Insights and all other free mocks

6. forum IAS MGP + Essays with sectionals ( from November 2021)

7. Vision IAS Mains test series of 30 tests (including sectionals)

8. IAS Gurukul Test Series for Sociology (8 tests)

9. Mock Interviews at many institutes ( Forum Current Affairs classes which are 3-4 in number)

I paid to IAS Network for second correction of all tests - around 45 tests that I wrote and second opinion

3rd attempt (2023)

1. Did not buy prelims test series and did 40 free tests by buying my from ORN

2. Edukemy for Essay Crash Course and 2 tests ( because I got 85 in Essay)

3. Ethics + of Forum IAS as recommended by Ayush Sir for improving Essay marks

4. Current Affairs of Forum IAS (Dipin Sir)

5. Sociology ATS+ which included value addition and 10 tests

6. Forum IAS MGP ( only FLTs)

7. vision IAS Mains test series (only FLTs)

8. Next IAS Mains test series and essay ( Free course as IGP Student)

9. Lukmann Ethics ( gave only final 2 FLTs)

10. Did mock interviews at various places

Also paid for Reliable and Valid Sociology test series but couldn’t complete the tests at all

I took Ayush Sir’s guidance for rank improvement in 2023 and there is no other coaching that helped in Prelims and Mains. Interview Guidance, I’ve done many mock interviews and have taken suggestions from various places and they are mostly based out of Delhi.

I have picked a lot of free material, toppers notes, small mains data booklets from ORN which I have not included here.

I wrote:

1 GS Test series in Attempt 1 ( sectionals also)

2 GS Test Series in Attempt 2 (sectionals in both)

3 GS Test Series in Attempt 3 and this was only FLTs

This is one way I improved on my GS Marks

In 2020: Prepared from Hyderabad and Home

2022 attempt: I was in Manesar for training and preparation continued from there before coming home with 2 weeks leave to appear for exam

2023- I was in Delhi as part of field attachments and preparation happened from there before I came home for a month on leave to give the exam
