Prelims - Mains gap

I divided my day into five slots of two hours each.

I allotted three slots (6 hours) for my optional subject and two slots (4 hours) for General Studies (GS).

I did this because my GS notes and answer writing practice were already well-prepared before the prelims, but my optional subject needed more attention.

I used to alternate between GS and optional slots to avoid getting bored.

In the night, I also spent one hour on GS answer writing and half an hour on optional answer writing.
