Study Sessions:

7:00 AM – 9:00 AM – Optional Subject (Slot 1)

11:45 AM – 1:45 PM – Optional Subject (Slot 2)

2:15 PM – 4:15 PM – General Studies (GS) (Slot 2)

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM – Answer Writing Practice

45 minutes for GS

45 minutes for Optional

OR

Attending Mains Test Classes at Fortune

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Optional Subject (Slot 3)

9:00 PM – Leave library

10:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Pending or Miscellaneous Tasks

Effectively, my schedule included:

6 hours for Optional

4 hours for General Studies (GS)

2 hours for Answer Writing or Mains Test Classes

I designed it this way because I had already done significant preparation for GS before the Mains. However, my Optional subjectβ€”especially Paper 1β€”had to be started from scratch. So, I allocated more time to Optional than GS.

You can design your own schedule based on your individual strengths and weaknesses.

After the Sunday Prelims, I took a break for two to three days. By Thursday, I had made up my mind, and I began full-time preparation from the following Monday.
