#Ethics Strategy:
I used Peeyush Sir’s lecture notes from Vajiram as my base content for Ethics. Alongside that, I prepared relevant examples from toppers’ copies, newspapers, social media, and other contemporary sources.
Despite this, I often felt that Ethics might betray me in the Mains. On the advice of my mentor, Nitin Sir, I decided to dedicate more time specifically to Ethics answer writing.
For two months before the Mains, I consistently wrote one 10-marker and one case study every day. This regular practice significantly improved the quality of my answers.
My only advice for improving in Ethics: write answers. Write more. And keep writing even more. That’s the most effective way to master this paper.
How I Think I Scored 128 in #Ethics
- I always catered to the demand of the question, no matter what.
If a question had four parts, I made sure to address all four. I never compromised on this—even when the 2024 Ethics paper was long and bulky with multiple subparts.
2. I substantiated every point with relevant examples or case studies.
These included real-life events, current affairs, or insights from toppers' copies.
3. I used quotes to start my answers, especially in introductions.
For example, in a question about transparency, I began with the famous quote by the Supreme Court: “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
4. I used catchy phrases in my conclusions to leave a strong impression.
Example words like "Sevottam" by 2nd ARC
I may not be able to share my Ethics notes, but I will share my example book as well as my test copies within few days
