Moreover, my notes making strategy was extremely revision oriented (targeted 5+ revisions till exam incl. revision for FLTs). Once I had a basic hold over my foundational notes from the crash course, I focused on creating and revising high value addition short notes between prelims and mains (50-80 pages per GS) using sources mentioned above for each topic of the syllabus. I tried to keep them short to be able to revise them few days before mains exam (I further colour coded/ highlighted anything I believed I needed to revise)
Sharing a sample of my notes from GS2 (had prepared similar for all GS). I apologise for the unclean notes and handwriting, but they worked for me as I could understand them. I am not suggesting using my format (in fact, they were v disorganised due to time constraint) but would suggest customising your notes to make them more revision friendly if you have the time.
