I’m sharing my International Relations (IR) notes

In the comment section, I noticed that many of you have been asking for my notes. To be honest, the only reason I hesitated earlier was because my notes aren’t conventional. They’re short, handwritten, messy at places, and made purely for my own quick revisions — not for public sharing.

But since so many of you insisted, I’m sharing my International Relations (IR) notes here for your reference. Please excuse the handwriting as I never imagined I’d be sharing these one day. But with this, you will be able to visualise what I have been meaning to say about notes over last few weeks:

1. Crisp & Revision-Friendly: My entire IR syllabus was covered in ~20 pages. This helped me revise multiple times before Mains.

2. Consolidation is Key: You’ll see that all value additions from all different sources for a topic are in one place — often just a quarter or half a page. Yes, this made the pages look messy, but I could follow them — and that’s what matters. Your notes need to work for you.

3. Diagrams: Wherever relevant, I’ve added simple diagrams right next to the content. They helped me recall in the exam.

4. Colour Coding for Revision: Each round of revision had its own highlighter colour — so I could track what I was forgetting and focus on that in the next round.

I’m sharing these in the hope that they give you some inspiration or direction — not as a template to blindly copy. If these notes make any sense to you, and you’d like me to upload for other topics as well (except GS4, which is already shared in digital format above in the channel), do let me know honestly. I genuinely want to share only what’s helpful.
