8. Name some Indian EV companies that are doing good.

9. Can you name some EV battery manufacturing companies in India?

1. So you have been an active hockey player?

2. What is universal immunization?

3. Which diseases are covered in India?

4. Why is measles vaccine given at a later age?

5. What is cryptocurrency? Current policy of India wrt cryptos is like a sin tax and brings cryptos in the same bracket as online gambling, alcohol, drugs, etc. What do you think?

7. Then won't India lag behind in cryptos while other countries will establish themselves in cryptocurrencies?

8. Why is Aadhaar biometric for children updated after attaining 5 years of age?

4. Started a discussion about centre state relations. What is a double engine sarkaar?

5. What are the benefits of double engine sarkaar?

6. Why in some states (opposition ruled states) the state policies clash with the central policies?

7. What are the disadvantages of double engine sarkaar?

1. Are you interested in PFMS (public finance management system)?

2. Will stakeholders (public, govt, economists, etc.) be happy if fiscal deficit (FD) is reduced?

3. What will be your reaction if the FD is reduced?

4. Is a surplus budget desirable?

5. Suppose you are a budget/ financial adviser. Then what type of budget will you recommend- surplus budget or budget with FD? Some cross questions which I don't remember exactly.

1. India was once a topper in hockey. Why did Indian hockey decline?

2. What all changed with the switch from grass turf to astro turf? How did it affect the game play?

3. Lets continue discussion on centre state relations (picked from M2). Suppose a state like Kerala (or any other state for that matter) wants to secede from India and most Keralites also favour it. Should it be allowed?

4. But isn't secession ethically right if majority supports it in a democratic country like India?

5. Why secession shouldn't be allowed?

6. Can you name some foreign countries where there are states which want to secede from their respective countries?

M1 (last question of the interview)

1. I noticed you have taken EE as your optional. Why didn't you opt for Anthropology, Sociology, etc. like most engineering candidates do?

1. The above transcript seems more like a questionnaire. However the actual interview was a mix of questionnaire and discussion.

2. The seating arrangement was very staggered and asymmetric. The CP had his own table while no table for any other member. One member was at exactly 90 degrees towards my right.

3. Composition of questions:

i. About 50-60% questions were from DAF

ii. Other questions were random, general knowldege/awareness based

iii. No current affairs question except one related to EVs

iv. Questions repeated from mocks- none

None of the questions were repeated in the actual interview though I gave 12-15 mocks.
