Animesh Verma prelims marksheet 2022 and 2023

My CSAT score is shocking in 2023. As per various coachings answer keys I should have got at least 80 marks in Paper II. But this also comes with a learning. Throughout my UPSC journey I have found that the actual marks received in Prelims can vary significantly from those marks according to coachings' answer keys. So while preparing you should set your target with a buffer of at least 10-15 marks above the cut-off.Though you should not get worried if your marks in prelims mocks are lesser than your target and vary greatly over various mocks. For example, if you are getting marks in the range of 65-90+, then you are very much likely to clear the highest cut-off in prelims (Paper I). Prelims marks in mocks usually oscillate greatly majorly due to the objective nature of the exam (1 tiny mistake and it costs you straight 2.66 marks penalty in Paper I).
