OVERVIEW FOR NEXT 3 MONTHS

A. For those who are writing mains this year (if you are getting >79 (for UR) from any decent answer key, you lie in this category for now)

GS- No classes, no notes, nothing will help you as much in the actual exam as answer writing practice will. Find a good test series (I wrote MGP and AWFG last year, you can decide this on your own.) But try to write atleast 5 answers everyday/every alternate day in a time bound manner, and one/two 20 question tests on the weekend.

Don't wait for perfect notes or perfect time to write answers, it will never come. Yes, try to have a basic material covering the syllabus from where you can revise, how to make that I will be sharing in subsequent posts. I'll also share the sources for various GS papers.

Also another issue you will face is completing 20 questions in 3 hours. Write with strict deadlines, stop exactly at 3 hours, if you're able to do 15 questions then be it. Don't write for 4 hours and try to reduce the time going ahead, rather write for 3 hours and try to increase the content in those 3 hours going ahead.

Abhi ke liye keep in mind that

Your aim for GS in next 3 months should be: you have short notes for every paper which you can revise in 2 hours before the exam. You have practiced writing answers even for those questions jinka bilkul bhi idea nahi hai. You have written 1 or 2 full length tests every weekend.

Optional-

I am hoping that you have covered the syllabus once and have notes to revise from. Take the PYQs topic wise and solve them in upsc type sheets, make model answers. Take your time here, if you are able to do this for last 10 year questions, half your job is done, no matter what your optional is. The other half is revision, making short notes and writing FLTs.

Essay- Start writing essays on PYQs, I'll say write one today, you'll write a bad essay, doesn't matter. Topic ko dekh ke jo bhi mann me aae likho 90 minute tk. The more you write, the better you will get. Will make another post for essay soon.

Current Affairs- I joined Dipin sir's classes last year as a part of FRC4 for Current affairs, they really helped me but it can be too much to digest for some people. I didn’t follow any other source so can't comment. My value addition also got sorted here.
