For Prelims

Obviously I read Laxmikant and made notes out of it because I didn't want to read it again and again. I filled some gaps through the Frc handouts (I did not read the book in its entirety and skipped some chapters). I kept adding new facts and information at the relevant place in my notes from all the mock tests I gave over the 3 attempts. I revised my notes a lot of times to get them in my long term memory.

Polity is a highly rewarding subject in Prelims and you can achieve 100% accuracy here and maximize your score. Focus on avoiding the silly mistakes and don't overthink in Polity questions in Prelims.

For Mains

I mostly relied on Dipin sir's classes and Awfg and Mgp model answers for value addition apart from my notes. The approach here was a bit different, I focused more on points and facts which I can use in my answers (Articles, commitees, SC cases and Quotes) and skipped the unnecessary facts.

Overall Polity is a subject which can easily be covered through standard sources, so keep your sources limited and keep revising it.
