Sources- My notes (Physical Geography, Indian Mapping, World Mapping, Indian Geography, Places in news etc.) made from Sudarshan Gurjar sir's classes (I did not buy a single course, Unacademy gave the 7 day free subscription so I finished Indian and Physical in those 7 days and the mapping series is available on Sudarshan sir's YT channel for free.
Tip- Focus on the conceptual clarity especially in Physical and Indian Geography, you won't get the question wrong if you understand how things work.
Brute force and regular practice and revision is required for Mapping retention, you may feel that it's not useful but indirectly it helps in a lot of statements.
For mains focus on diagrams and processes, if you understand the concepts and practice the diagrams, you won't have to do anything new for mains.
I know that NCERTs of 11th and 12th are important for geography and statements are directly picked from there in Prelims. BUT I never read the NCERTs and it would be difficult to understand the concepts directly from NCERTs because they lack the required in depth explaination. The choice is yours, you can refer them but at the later stage and not in the beginning.
