GS PAPER 1-

Indian culture- notes made for Prelims- Nitin Singhania and NCERTs

Modern Indian history, Freedom struggle- Bipan Chandra History of Modern India, Spectrum

Post Independence- Ncert,

History of world- Norman Lowe [You can refer to any coaching notes also]

Society- NCERTs only- here I made some notes using google for topics such as globalisation, poverty and development issues, urbanisation problems.

Geography- NCERTs 11 & 12, G C Leong- for topics such as key natural resources, ice caps I made self notes using aid of PYQs.

GS PAPER 2-

Indian constitution, comparison, legislatures- whatever I could find in Laxmikant, else followed newspapers and my PSIR notes.

RP Act- google - self notes through newspaper editorials.

Government policies, welfare schemes- Vajiram yellow book, committee recommendations.

Issues related to social sector, poverty, hunger- newspaper editorials- self notes + committee recommendations.

Important aspects of governance, e gov, etc- ARC report on e governance, can complement using ethics notes. [committee recommendations are very important here].

Civil services- just know the issues and committee recommendations, pyqs as source

India & neighbourhood- PSIR notes

GS PAPER 3-

Indian economy- Ramesh Singh, newspaper editorials for self notes.

Crops & cropping patterns, agriculture, food processing-Ramesh Singh + lots and lots of google- with specific notes on each topic mentioned- can use PIB here for data, policies and way forward.

Land reforms, investment models, liberalisation, industrial policy- formed notes in format of "what- when-how-issues- govt reforms- way forward".

Science and tech- self notes on terms mentioned. {I will be uploading this}.

Conservation, env etc- PYQs to form notes and basic questions that can be asked [what- causes- implications- way forward].

Disaster management- NDMA guidelines pdf {I will be uploading this}. I had read the whole pdf, but you may refer to any topper notes/coaching notes.

Internal Security- Ashok Singh {can add data and examples using newspaper}.

GS PAPER 4-

Lexicon Ethics, Forum IAS Red Book for examples and ethical terms.

Here I relied on topper copies to know the structuring and use of ethical terms in answers {Vishaka Yadav ma'am copies}.

I had made notes on each term mentioned in the Ethics paper with any examples but very concise.

Due to my reliance on self study and self notes, I had mostly used internet for making notes. If at all you feel time crunch to make notes, you can always look up to any topper notes or use resources available in the market.
