Source of analysis: This is the analysis of scores of top 500 ranks that appeared for Abhyaas Test 1 & 2 of 2023. This data is available on their portal itself and has been summarised using pivot tables in excel.
Aim of analysis: When I saw this data and decided to find out what is average number of questions being attempted by students in general. The results of the same are displayed above
Takeaways:
In Abhyaas test 1, almost 70% are attempting 85+. In Abhyaas test 2 the same rose to 80%
What we can decipher is the trend of attempting questions on the higher side. Even though Abhyaas stimulates exam condition but still on real exam day of #prelims the pressure is more (& student take more risk in mocks)
š« Final advice: So if you discount a little you should atleast attempt in the range of 80s.
š¦ My own scenario: My own range grew from 78 in 2020 to around 86 in 2023
