Hope your prelims went well. Had I been in your place, I would have started preparing for mains wholeheartedly after 1 day break (which I even did in my first attempt - when I couldn't clear prelims). Few initial pointers for those who might need them:
1) Sort out your priorities about what all material (including notes) you would read and re-read in these 3 months.
2) Sort out which test series you would take.
3) Sort out the time management regime - how much time to GS, how much to optional and how much to practice.
My take on each of them:
1) I had my own notes for major static subjects (which I will try to upload as and when I find them). For dynamic subjects like economy, environment, geography etc, I relied on 2 major sources - news/current affairs compilation (Mains365) and also selective content collection from the solutions of past 2 year mains test series solutions of any one coaching (can be purchased from Amazon).
2) In the 2022 attempt, I took the NextIAS test series for electrical engineering optional and ForumIAS for GS and essay. But from my experience I found that the cost to benefit ratio wasn't apt for my personal understanding and enhancement, hence I dropped both of them in 2023 attempt. In this attempt, I joined Mains Masterstroke by Sachin Arora sir for daily answer writing - you can also form your own peer group and write 10-15 answers daily without fail (I stressed a lot on answer writing practice in the 2023 attempt). I also did extra effort for ethics this year by joining Ethics Answer writing module of Peeyush Sir and got insights about how to organise my notes and how to think better and more efficiently in the exam situation. For electrical I will tell separately.
3) I used to devote morning time till lunch to GS - theory + 60-90 min of continuous answer writing in morning. From lunch to dinner, I devoted to theory + practice of electrical engineering optional. Post dinner I used to give special time to whatever I consider weak for myself - sometimes history but mostly ethics.
