events: 42nd amendment, censorship, arrests
consequences: 44th amendment, janata experiment, coalition era
relevance: civil liberties debates today
debates: necessary vs authoritarian interpretations

phase 4: current linkages

post independence themes appear in current news:
- federalism debates → linguistic reorganization
- economic policies → planning vs liberalization
- foreign policy → nehruvian vs new approach
- regional parties → state movements history

maintain clippings connecting current to historical.

scoring topics:

prepare these thoroughly.

answer writing tips:

1. multiple perspectives
never write one-sided answers. india post independence has contested narratives.

mention different historians views:

- subaltern perspectives
