Don'ts:

Use abusive language, personal attacks, or derogatory comments.
Engage in harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind.

Do: Provide accurate information about your qualifications and experiences.
Do: Give proper attribution when sharing content created by others.
Don't: Misrepresent your credentials or falsely claim achievements.
Don't: Attempt to manipulate the verification system or create false identities.

3. Verification Process Integrity

Our verification process for toppers is designed to maintain the credibility and trustworthiness of the platform.

Do: Submit authentic documentation when requesting verification.
Do: Respect the verification decision made by our administrators.
Don't: Submit altered or false documents for verification.
Don't: Share verification credentials with other users.

Remember that users remain as "aspirant" type until manually verified by an admin, and verification status can be revoked if violations of these guidelines occur.

4. Quality Content

Contribute content that adds value to the community and helps others in their academic journey.

Do: Share accurate, helpful information related to competitive exams.
Do: Provide constructive feedback on others' questions and content.
Don't: Post spam, irrelevant content, or excessive self-promotion.
Don't: Share misleading information or unverified exam strategies.

5. Intellectual Property

Respect the intellectual property rights of others and the platform.

Do: Share your own original content or properly cite sources.
Do: Obtain permission before sharing others' proprietary materials.
Don't: Post copyrighted materials without proper authorization.
Don't: Share paid courses, books, or materials without the creator's permission.

6. Prohibited Content

Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
Sexually explicit or pornographic material
Content promoting discrimination, racism, or hatred
Violent or graphic content
Content that compromises exam integrity (e.g., cheating methods)

Spam, pyramid schemes, or deceptive practices
Advertisements or solicitations not approved by Ranks Apart

Don't: Engage in or promote academic dishonesty of any kind.

8. Reporting and Enforcement

Help us maintain these standards by reporting violations and following our enforcement procedures.

How to report: Use the "Report" button available on posts and profiles, or contact our support team at [email protected].
Our response: We review all reports and take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation.
Consequences: Depending on the violation, consequences may include content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Appeals: Users can appeal enforcement decisions by contacting our support team with additional context or explanation.

9. Mentorship and Guidance

Verified toppers have a special responsibility to provide accurate guidance and mentorship.

Do: Share authentic experiences and strategies that worked for you.
Do: Be transparent about the effort and challenges involved in exam preparation.
Don't: Make unrealistic promises or guarantees about exam results.
Don't: Discourage aspirants or belittle their efforts.

10. Platform Features

Use platform features as intended to enhance the community experience.

Profiles: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date profile that represents you honestly.
Messaging: Use direct messaging for constructive communication, not for harassment or spam.
Forums and Q&A: Participate in discussions to add value, not to disrupt or derail conversations.
Content rating: Rate content based on its quality and helpfulness, not personal biases.

11. Changes to Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated periodically to address new issues or improve clarity. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
